Some films arrive with an enormous premise; this one arrived with two men who loved each other but had no language for it. Boman sir has an  eye for discomfort, pride and unspoken tenderness which made every small exchange feel consequential. My role as a producer was to create enough trust and space for an intensely personal film to remain personal, even as it travelled towards a much larger audience.
