While Etienne brings an outsider’s perspective to India, his short chooses dignity over pity, allowing its characters to exist beyond the labels of their livelihoods. I drew on all my guerrilla production 101s to make this tiny project feel as big as possible on limited funds, with everyone doubling down and taking on multiple roles.
