It was a dream to work with Nagraj Manjule, whose Fandry remains one of my favourite films. I was honoured that he trusted me to back his vision within a studio setup. In the proximity of death, he found tenderness, exhaustion and an unexpected insistence on life. Producing Vaikunth reminded me that scale has little to do with duration; a precise filmmaker can open an entire world in a handful of minutes.
