This was an early lesson in how cinema can carry memory without exploiting it. Gurvinder created tension through what remained unseen and unresolved, trusting atmosphere, landscape and silence with enormous responsibility. Being close to producer Kartikeya’s process taught me that producing begins with serving the filmmaker’s gaze.
